Tired muscles

Has anyone experienced having a tired feeling all over your body. My eyes feel dry and tired. My legs feel tired. I ovulated a few days ago and have had pressure and gas in my left lower pelvic area. I have been nauceous, gasssy and fatigued. Just feeling blah! Don't mean to whine.

You're not whining. You probably feel like a lot of women who are menopausal. You describe the symptoms I had when I stopped taking my HRT. Unfortunately I started to take it again but reducing it gradually with a view to stopping it in a few months. That was what my GP recommended. There are a lot of threads in the menopause forum with lots of great advice on how to manage your symptoms. If you do a search you'll find it really easily. Good luck.

    Hello Shar,

I've been dealing with this for the past year somewhat. I've always had issues with my lower back aching if I didn't get proper rest. Now my body feels like it's been hit by a mack truck at times. I walk like I am 110 yrs old at times because everything aches.

It's crazy. I do gentle yoga, wear orthotics in my shoes (oh gawd-just typing that makes me weep sad) drink plenty of water, take my recommended supplements and now I have to go to Physical Therapy 1 or 2 times a week to try and combat this awful feeling. It's not working. Had tests to rule other issues out and I am fine.

From what I have read, it may have to do with declining estrogen.  Up until this past year, I had not many issues so I can only hope and pray when things finally level out these things will pass.

I do know that if I dare to skip my Fish oil that is high in the Omega 3-EPA-DHA biz, my eyes get horribly dry and makes it difficult to wear my contacts.  Try that one if you are not already taking it and see if it helps the dry eye biz.

I don't know what other women do to try and alleviate this lovely symptom, I am relatively new to this forum.

I would like to start back to gentle yoga here soon, I really miss it, but when this kicks in, it makes it difficult to do much really.

Here's hoping that you will feel better soon and you are most certainly not whining! biggrin

Thanks Annie! I will try to get some fish oil. It will also help with my cholesterol.
