Tiredness

hey has anyone ever had an issue where you experience this out of the blue sudden tiredness that you literally need to lay down at that moment? its almost like someone has slipped you something and your head gets foggy and your eyes kinda go out of focus. i know its not my sugar or my thyroid both of them have been tested and no issues. i am a week out from my period but sometimes it even happens when im 2-3 weeks out. it does linger for a bit as well but then the energy kinda comes back. strange

I have been making an observation on the good and not-so-good days. it seems like my symptoms, including irritation/low mood and tiredness, are more pronounced during the days leading to ovulation, roughly day 7 to day 13 of my 23/26 days cycle. After that i feel so much better. It really helps to prepare us if we can find the "pattern".

yes u r right. the stress factor can amplify peri/meno symptoms. I used to have anxiety, disturbed sleep, lower back pain, heart n stomach burns n physical weakness...for a few months. then i totally changed my food habits to a healthy one...cut out caffeine and started yoga stretches n pranayama. now apart from those 5-6 days during ovulation, i feel much better. but, being equipped with awareness n knowledge of perimenopause symptoms helped me big time in getting a handle on things when they do come on. i just tell myself to give it a few minutes n it will go away...n it does. if we pay too much attention...it will seem like forever. so....as long as i know that these symptoms r temporary....trust me...it gets a bit less difficult when dealing with it all. i owe a lot to this forum and the ladies here for sharing their experience and suggestions.

...oh...i do take vitamin b complex, magnesium, calcium + vit d3 and brahmi(1 morn n 1 night). i eat plenty of veggies, eggs, greens n yam, brown rice, water. luckily i get time to rest...so i do take advantage of this. i don't have kids. n im 47.

After reading posts on this forum and taking advice, I quit my HRT and started taking b vits, vit d, evening primrose, magnesium and a multivitamin tablet... I started taking these around 2 weeks ago and I honestly think i feel a little less exhausted... hopefully this will continue.

Maybe this regime could help others too? Worth a try.
