Tiredness and Citalopram

I took 10mg citalopram for 2 months with good results for depression and fibromyagia.  Results were not 100% so upped dose to 20mg.  have been taking 20mg at night for 5 days and feel tired and hungry all the time. Even after 9 hours sleep I still have to sleep again for 3 to 4 hours in the daytime.  Always wake up ravenously hungry which causes me to overeat.  since I have recently lost 3stones in weight I am very worried about this.  Will the tiredness and hunger stop?

Any advice is much appreciated.

    I think it more than likely will settle down Hun.

    I know when I started mitral alien,everybody warned me about munchies and weight gain..I had a increased appetite for about a week and it wasn't huge,just more than I'd been able to eat previously. From about the end of week one....the appetite disappeared again. I wouldn't worry to much. Once they settle into your system,you can think about cutting back a little. Main thing is getting well xx

    Usually takes a couple of weeks but could take up to a month to clear

    Thanks Gillian and Tazchurch.  I'll stick it out for a couple of weeks and see what happens.  Feel better already hearing from you guys.
