Tissue hanging in throat. Does anyone know what this is?

I woke up this morning with a tear shaped tissue hanging from right side of my throat. feels as if there's food stuck and I need to swallow. I had glandular fever when I was younger and struggled with tonsillitis which meant the tonsil on the right side was pitted and always seemed to get tonsil stones. Wondered if my tonsil had actually snapped off if that is even possible??! It's moving around freely which is tickling my throat.
