My clicking never stoped, somethimes it is not as loud.  Depending on what i am doing still have some pain off and on.  They told me to walk 15 min everyday., If you are still in pain there is nothing wrong with taking your pain meds.  Physical therapy is very important keep doing that.  Good luck knee friend

Am I suppose to hear clicks?  Oh yeah.  Could last up to 18 months or never go away.  Get used to it...and the "clunks"...

When does pain completely stop?  WHEN IT STOPS and not one moment sooner than that.  This might be helpful...

How much am I suppose to be walking?  As much as you can without causing any swelling.  Use a FitBit or pedometer.  Track your steps.  If you experience swelling, note the steps, back off and increase gradually.

I'm still taking 1 to 2. Percocet a day 5 mg..  And?  Do they help?  Do you need a higher dose temporarily?  Talk to your doc.  More info...

I up and out all day long but it never stops hurting.  You're probably doing too much, expecting too much of yourself, etc.  If it hurts, STOP!  This will take a year...period...

I'm still in Physical therapy 3 x week for strengthening.  You go to PT to get your 0 / +120 ROM back.  You go to the gym to regain the strength in your quads, glutes and core.  Will take many months.  See the Exercise Section in the above post.

I am 66 years? Any advice is appreciated.  I'm almost 69.  You're in the middle of the most brutal recovery on the planet.  Welcome to the club.

Anthony if your pain seems to be getting worst go see your surgeon. Let me give you a little of my story, had knee replacement 11 mos down the line still in excruciating pain. Finally doc listened after I went in again this time in tears because it was so bad. He did a bone scan and what do you know it was an infection. No body really knows your pain but you!! For me this all begined in 2011 and now 2017 I'm still having a lot of pain after 2 revisions on 1 knee and 3 on the other all because the surgeon paid no attention to my crys and the  sign of infections 1 being increase pain. I pray you don't have an infection and all is well.

Listen to mr Marx (I call him Sir or he likes Commander) ha ha. Drink lots of water too!  Gotta have a good attitude, sense of humor n determination. I would repeat the same as gm, but no need... Hang in there Anthony, some heal faster some heal slower, you'll get there, this was no pansy A surgery you've gone through, do the work, you'll get the results, pain is inevitable, if really bad, discuss with your doctor. Good healing to you... 🌬🌬🍀🍀👼👼🏊🏊🚴🚴 k p

Hi Anthony.  I know 15 weeks feels like a lfe time, but it really isn't.  My TKR was my 6th surgery on that knee (I'm 46 y/o female) and people kept telling me it would take a year.....and it did!  After 6 months of physical therapy, I bought an exercise bike (Peloton) and did the PT myself.  Don't get me wrong...it was a long year, but I am finally pain free!  My bend still isn;t that great, but things are way better than prior to surgery.
