I am at 8 weeks since my tkr on my right knee. And my thigh muscle is still a bit tender. Your muscles need to gain strength again. That is why you do leg lifts, and walking, among your other exercises. Have you talked with your physical therapist about why your still tender?
Heck when I take my walks my thighs get tender after I sit fir a little bit

I don't have a PT but I'll be getting a follow-up with the surgeon after 8 weeks. It seems perfectly normal though, we have all encountered it and it's still early days

This is your "alignment" visit. They should do an x-ray and then draw a straight line from hip to ankle. If the knee is correct, the line will go straight through the middle of the knee.
