Most definitely a marathon. Prayers that yours continues well. Now 8 weeks after TKR and getting there. From what I have read, I am extremely lucky. Exercise every other day, only Advil after exercise, finally able to sleep more than couple of hours. Sometimes it feels like one step forward and two back but we will get there. A number of folks will post great information and answer questions. Follow your doctor’s and therapist’s recommendations for long term recovery.

So many different feelings in knee/ leg ... stabbing pains.. nerve endings tingling.... knee feeling hot... toes feeling ice cold although checked by Pyshio as I have a very good pulse rate and they are not cold...stiffness in knee....some exercises were hard at start and the new ones I’ve got now are very hard .All this is not to scare anyone just my experience at this moment in time .More to follow if required

I am not sure I would say its going slowly by who's comparison? I think you making great progress whether you think its slow or not the fact is you had a major surgery. There are going to be good days and bad days sometimes you are in PT and you made progress then the next time you go it went backwards. Wish I was in you shoes I am 2 years post op and it looks like I am heading for another trip to OR.
