at present awake every hr due to stiffness and pain have to get out of bed so that I can turn over😂 now need to see my  original dr due to  discharging myself from the consultant as it did not show up on the system 😂😂😂

So got to go back in 2 wks and when I looked at my sick not the bloody dates are wrong so back I go on Monday 😡😡😡😡 but to be fair I do like the dr I saw tonight we had s good laugh about the lack of care system and the NHS what is it coming to 😓😓

Morning Natalie what part our u from I have dear friends in happy valley then have just gone back after a 2mth visit with family and friends miss them lots but Facebook them all the time.

I’m only 11wks but very  impatient I’m not very energetic so I don’t do Ghe gym or running etc like some on the group do I just work and walk the dogs but up until this week I have not been able to walk the dogs due to the pain but just been away for a few days all walking done on the flat which was nice but painful at the end of the day the burning is  A weird feeling which I don’t like but if the doctor says it’s due to the nerve endings getting back and it’s a good sign then I will have to put up with it .  I don’t have a consultant at the moment because I discharge myself from him due to not liking him and felt I was not getting the best so I’m now waiting for a new one how long that will be I don’t know as I did not see my original doctor yesterday it was another one get on with her very well but I think you need to stick to the same doctor to sort things out I did ask to look it up on the computer but she said she could not find it so I see him in two weeks and see what he has to say  keep in touch stay strong keep positive  Xx

You should find the nerve meds help a lot , did me I didn’t have to take them for long . I found a big improvement in pain levels at 8-10 wks and was off them all then . I’m in Australia so it’s different , but I had check up at 6 wks and not again for a year when X-rays are taken , unless I have any problems then I can make app to see surgeon , but 9 months and all going okay . It’s takes time and some people take longer

Warning Jenny it’s nice to  to read positive notes from people within the group as I’ve said not having a consultant now it’s going to be hard for me until I can get a new one but my original doctor is great so I know he will sort it out if I have any real major problems

I have taken nerve tablets in the past due to a back injury that I sustained while nursing just did not give them a thought this time for my knee  last night I took two and had a great sleep which I think if you can sleep that helps with the healing process  I don’t like the burning sensation that I get in my knee  but if it means it’s healing then that’s a good sign take care talk soon stay strong keep positive  Xx

Thats okay , like you I forgot about the nerve tablets and went through six weeks of horrible pain, dumb because I had them for my first knee 7 years ago and didn't think!!  They made such a difference, good luck
