With lots of post op physio and exercise have since being able to go bush walks of varying lengths of 10 to 50 k’s. Later involved carrying pack of about 12 Kilos.
So for me slow return to daily exercise has been key,
Good luck

How you train for 12.5 kilogram ?
Did you hike with low weight and gradually increase it ?

hi
No short cuts to recovery from TKR that i have found .
Need to strengthen your legs with as much daily exercise as possible i found walking, swimming and cyclying the best way to do this .
You may have another combo of exercise.
Once you have achieved this then slowly add weight.
OK?
No shortcuts remember
regards
Pete
