Sorry to hear you're having problems still. To be having bruising still doesn't sound right does it? Has it been continuous or does it go away and come back?

I hope you some answers on the 19th and it's something that can be easily sorted out for you. Take care and let us know how you get on.

Anna In think that is HORRENDOUS!!!!!! Obviously your surgeon screwed something up!!!!! I am in month 7. Still awful pain, tourniquet feeling, numb, burning feeling. Now he tells me my patella is leaning to one side and not tracking!!!! I was given very little info before surgery and told 3 month recovery. Now he is saying a year, Chico here says it can be 18 months. I am doing everything I am being told!!! No pain meds after 3 months. I get so angry. Then feel depressed and hopeless, and feel like life is passing me by. All the things I can't do anymore. And the surgeon doesn't care at all. I think you need a 2nd opinion!!!!

That doesnt sound right ,I stopped icing at two months after op , and could walk fine , just used a stick for a while when i walked the dog incase he pulled, now just over two years and dont think about it when walking , still a but hesitant going down stairs but dont get much practice. I have to say I never did much of the exercises even at beginning , just walked and went to water aerobics . Get it checked out , I saw my surgeon after a year , and thats it unless I have a problem . Good luck I think I was one of the lucky ones as really had little swelling and no obvious bruising after op
