I do not understand your post fully. Have you had two TKRs at the same time?

It's ok to be scared. You didn't say when you had your operation. TKR is a serious operation and very painful. You need to check out Chico Marx posts on this site. He is very good about giving good advice. Please remember to be good to yourself and be patient, time is on your side.

I am not sure when you had your surgery but I think that being scared it normal for most of us. I felt that I had so many questions and was afraid of what my future was going to be as far as recovery and pain. Read some of the posts on this forum to get a feel for what others went through and you will see that most of us were the same as you, scared, in pain and fear of what our future will bring. A month ago, I would have not been very positive, but as month later I feel like I am finally on my way to my new norm. You will get there in your own time. It can take 12 - 18 months, be patient as we all recover at our own pace.
