Hello fellow kneeople.(See what I did there? 😄 )
My question is to those who are very far down the line from their TKR's.
I am 2 years post one TKR and 5 months post the second.
I am wondering if the clicking and clanking the knees make ever goes away. Mildly annoying.A small price to pay for painless knees, to be fair - but still annoying!

Hi, 2 years LTKR, 1 year RTKR at 52! Still very clicky, and not pain as such but definitely stiffness. Still on anti-inflammatatories as i still have trouble moving freely without them. Can walk for an hour maximum. Was really hoping it would be better than this.

By 18 months you should be clear of that annoyance. At 3 1/2 years, I rarely hear anything. Everyone is different so don't carve that marker in stone. Yes, the noises do go away in time.

Hi, i'm almost a year down the line and get a lot of clicking going down stairs, have to laugh at it sometimes. No pain as such but still a bit stiff and muscles ache. I was worried about the clicking at first but i belive this is normal.

i am 5 years out and never had a click. I am grateful i don't have pain anymore.
