oh jean, i am so so sorry. i would have your daughter call the surgery again and kick up one holy stink and INSIST on getting the necessary medication. this is bordering on neglect to be honest. but sometimes in life you have to SHOUT to be heard, this is a sad reality. my mum, who is 76, tells me that she has to SHOUT even louder now that she is aged otherwise gets overseen. don't allow this to happen.

sending you good vibes and a strong voice!

Hello and thanks for your message I'm 76 and yes you are right about the age discrimination ...my brain hasn't needed an Op .... just my knee..I'm not at all a feeble individual and didn't feel my age until I had this Op

my daughter went and did the shouting....I got the proper medication each at the surgery blaming the other ie....Doctor and Receptionist,..she also got me anti sickness pills which have made such a difference

I'm now able to eat again... I will be watching my weight before long ...HaHa..

Now I can face the road to recovery

YAY!! This is fabulous news, Jean! Totally agree with you, no stopping you now. I totally understand you when you say you only feel your age since the OP. Quite an eye opener, and not a positive one! I got shouted at yesterday by an OAP as I was crossing the zebra crossing (with crutches, of course) on a red light as I was late for my physio appointment. "You shouldn't be doing that, not being able to walk well!" :-) I had to laugh at the situation as I must be 20 years younger than him. Anyway, your will be coming along leaps and bounds shortly. Well done.
