Tkr recovery finally going to plan

I’m 46 years old and had my left tkr four weeks tomorrow. From week three I have been walking without crutches, today I have driven to the supermarket and back after doing my shopping on my own. I am icing once a day at most, sleeping 8 hours and taking 2-3 codeine per day. I’m back at work on a part time basis and feel as though this has definitely been worth it as the lack of bone on bone pain is heaven.
I’m not posting this to boast or make anyone feel bad more to provide a positive perspective to anyone who is considering this surgery.
Good luck to everyone

?You fall in the minus 3 standard deviations category...very rare and unusual, although we've had a few people like you on here from time to time. In the words of Han Solo: "Great, kid. Don't get cocky!". You never know when you'll hit a wall since setbacks and plateaus are also very common.
?Personally, I hope you kick this pig's butt!!! We are all envious but rejoice in your quick success. Remember not to push too much or it might start to swell again on you. Here's hoping you're one of the few who conquer this op fast and easy. Congrats...

I am in the very early stages of what I believe will be a long bumpy road, all I can say is that I’m more pleased than I ever expected to be at this stage of the game.
Two weeks ago I would have lost my mind at the suggestion of scheduling my right tkr (yes, lucky old me needs both doing!!), now I am saying ‘Bring it on - let’s do this!!’
I wish everyone as good a recovery as possible and hope the benefits are soon felt
