Hi all had a tkr 17mths ago all was going well as i think i returned to work to soon only 4mths after tkr am a catering assistant on my feet for 6 hrs a day. Pain at the front of the knee which is horrible still doing all the exercise s as well. I also got osteoarthritis in my hand wrist top of my arms also my back went to the dr today he said the pain i am getting may never go away sorry i got this op done my whole body is acheing as well

i know-if I could turn the clock back I would
wished Id never had it done. Its wrecked my general health!!!xxx

I agree with both of you ladies. Why in the world did I have a surgery that was suppose make me pain free in my knee, yet, has only replaced it with a more horrible pain. Im 17 months out also. If I could turn back the hands of time !!!!!

So very true only made it all worse. You will be rid of pain they said now pain isevery where. My health just going down hill now

I am 16mths post tkr. Had new sudden osteoarthritis pain in wrists, hands, shoulders, feet, knees and lower back. I was in agony through the winter. Was prescribed Naproxen but the pain was still really bad. I googled possible remedies & found many people were finding great relief from turmeric capsules. I bought some and after a few weeks my pain has decreased tremendously!! I had to have the operation as my knee was locking & bone to bone..... really hope that I don't have to go through it again. Give them a try. Good luck. Kim

I was never forced to have my TKR, I signed the papers voluntarily with knowledge of all outcomes.
