I have been experiencing this for about 3 weeks ago, 3 days after having unprotected sex, first it started with an itching and milky discharge I took yeast infection medicine and it cleared the itching up but then a couple days later I started experiencing a burn when I urinated and just an overall weird feeling in my vagina. it has not yet went away and my vagina does not look normal, it is my ovulating day so I am sorry about the weird discharge but please, can someone tell me if this is normal or is this herpes? I never actually looked inside my vagina before to notice so I am not sure if this was always there, but I am having major anxiety, can someone please explain anything to me. I plan to make a doctors appt for this next week. imageimageimage

Thank you! I'm not sure what this weird feeling could be , could it be yeast infection or BV? Or maybe my mind just making me so paranoid

i know how you feel about the anxiety, mine was through the roof before i found out what was wrong!! would be thinking a yeast infection! you do look like you've redness and irritation! maybe your PH is off!! herpes outbreaks especially the first one is quite painful! also you would feel some bumpy areas that turn into ulcers/blister!

some times i find after a yeast infection if you need to rub the skin gets sensitive and can get a little sore when you pee! but the feeling i got from my first herpes outbreak was nothing i ever felt before!

there is lots of natural things you can do to help a yeast infection that are cheap and effective!

if i was you id get a full screen from the doctor or clinic just to be on the safe side! most things are easily treatable!

wow im so sorry to hear that! 😦 how long after sex did you get the outbreak?

yes the anxiety is bad as i have NEVER even had a yeast infection before and im 25 so i was just thinking the worst. all i felt yesterday was major burning when i pee but ive taken diflucan which is supposed to help and it really hasnt, although today i dont feel any symptoms

thank you for responding youve helped me ease up a bit

ah ive come to terms with it now! obviously i dont want it but i have it now and have to get on with things!! Physically it doesnt cause much issues now, the mental side of things is the worst! But it really is super common and is the type of thing that flairs up when your run down or need to look after your self more, so in a way its helpful!

so i was very sore after a few hours. everything felt a bit puffy down there! By 12 hours i was having flu symptoms and like extreme tingling/itching.. it would wake me up! A day or two after it was so bad i couldnt do anything it was so painful and when i looked there was a couple of scattered blisters!! im from europe and was away on vacation at the time!! i didnt speak the language to see a doctor!! so i dealt with it all for 10 days before i could get home! it was agnony! not to mention my ex being horrible to me for the rest of the holiday and a call from a random girl telling me to get a test as my ex had been cheating with her and she had the same issues!!

no problem at all! i felt so alone when i found out i had it! the over thinking is torture! i hate to think others are feeling this way!!

try not using any soaps down there! just cool water and pat or air dry! wiping can cause irritation and when i had a yeast infection i felt that if i wiped i was nearly going to hard to ease the itch!! Sounds weird but applying natural yohgurt down there can help to!! Other stds can cause itchinhg and irriation, so just get checked for your own piece of mind! alot of them are easy to treat!!

let me know how you get on 😃 x

my partner actually went and got tested last Friday for chlamydia and gonorrhea and he got his results back today and they were both not detected, he showed me the paperwork. Could it still possibly be an STD? I honestly think it’s a very bad yeast infection, but I’ve never gotten one before so I’m not sure. Although i do get UTIs at least once a year, could it have been a reaction to a new partner ?

omg girl, I hope this helps, I have been dealing with the exact same thing you have since December, i had lots of white discharge and many little bumps in my labia, exactly like yours.. with the pass of the time the bumps where more and more and more, I went to the gyno , she took a look and gave me treatment for yeast infection which didn't work I kept trying and buying bunch of ovules, creams., fluconazole pills, NOTHING worked. Until one day i decided to go to a new gyno, She recommended me a Endocervical culture with an antibiogram, and after 3 months of dealing with this stupid "Yeast infection " guess what it was , the bacteria E.coli, somehow it got there now I am taking antibiotics and feel much better. Test yourself and go to the gyno hopefully this works
