Hello ladies,

i hope you are all trying to stay sane in the crazy times. I am 14 months without a period but for the last 2 weeks I have had horrible TMJ - jaw pain that radiates around the ears, neck, under jaw & then through the neck and shoulders. as soon as I go to bed the pains goes away & I wake without pain but in the first hour the pains starts. Had a virtual physio appt yesterday so hoping to get some relief. i know i am stressed & my posture is poor & it is allergy season but looking for any advice. stay healthy!

    Hi Chickadee!

You're definitely not alone. I awoke feeling relatively "normal," based on our new normal. Then about half an hour into my day, I started having migraine/sinus pain in left eye, back of the neck, forehead. This was accompanied by anxiety of course. Yes these are trying times indeed. I hope you feel better soon.

hi, I was recently diagnosed with tmj after thinking I had an ear infection. my dr gave me a steroid shot and within 35 minutes the pain and discomfort was gone. I haven't had any issues since. this was back in January. since there is no real treatment for it, steroids are the most common treatment. hope you feel better soon!

wow...thank you for, that information. over the past two years I have been to the doctor for ear pain, ear infections, ringing in the ears, fluid in the ears, dizziness & other things. i have been on different anti histamines, nose sprays....you name it. I have had migraines for over 20 years. I grind & clench my teeth. now I think all of this is due to my tmj. The exercises have helped & I look forward to a massage. I am so glad you found relief & will mention the steroids to my doctor.
