Please would you provide some guidance as to what is and isn't allowed to be posted on here? It seems a lot of people are trying to help others, only to find their posts deleted by you.
Many thanks.

I agree with you entirely. I haven't seen a reply to my post to the moderator, your comments indicate you have? I use healthunlocked for the thyroid and other forums. The admins will remind people if they have posted something that they shouldn't, simply saying to PM certain types of information or occasionally removing a post with an explanation as to why. Generally, its been a life saver for me, hearing about other peoples ideas and experiences. Of course, we always add, I am not medically trained, or 'in my view' if we are being particularly opinionated. I was directed to this site via my GP's online link, perhaps that is the difference. I guess if this forum is seen as an extension of the sort of advice your GP might give you, then they can't be seen to be enabling 'off the wall' opinions or radical patient ideas. Well, I will be switching over to healthunlocked for my LS 'support', maybe I'll see you there. Best wishes :-)

Hi Susan,
I know that they don't like links to other sites. Maybe they are protecting us from being hacked? At one point you couldn't mention a brand name, but that seems to have changed. Thanks for your request. We really do need a list of rules. It's frustrating when you spend a lot of time writing a response, then it just gets blocked.
