To the moderator re- 8cm widthe abdominal aneurysm

Posted , 1 user is following.

I am seventy years old, I live in London UK and my AAA has been growing slowly for a few years. The last scan was showing it has grown to 8

Eight centimetres in width.

I also have stage 3 Emphysema and I am told that I'd probably not survive the serious operation to install stents.

My question is could this large aneurysm be pressing against organs in my lower belly?

Problems urinating and defecating have developed over time, a feeling of fullness and bloating are also a big problem. Stomach and lower back pain, neck and shoulder pain have also developed.

Is there anything you can suggest to ease any of the above? My life has become non-active MOSTLY due to extreme Fatigue and doing even the smallest jobs has become near impossible.

My emphysema AND the aneurysm are being monitored at my local hospital. BUT as we all know, the covid pandemic has changed everything, including the monitoring of situations like mine.

I'd appreciate your advice, thank you.
