First of all Happy Birthday Heather and secondly, yes you will. At present it might not feel possible but in time and bit by bit you will start to feel better. Keep talking and have faith. You will recover and it will make you a stronger person for it.

Happy Birthday! The first week is horrible and dreadful. It actually makes you feel worse. Each day after first week is easier and easier. One day you just notice you are smiling again and can't even remember the hardship. It will be ok, trust me. Maximum two more weeks to see the improvement. After one month you will be like new.

Happy birthday Heather. So sorry you are going through this. The lousy part is that zoloft DOES take a long time to kick in. Everyone reacts differently but you usually don't have good days until 6 weeks. You'll begin having some good days until the good ones outweigh the bad and all those intrusive thoughts will go away. It's so hard to believe when you are enduring it but with time you will be your old self again! You are not alone, everyone here is rooting for you! xoxo
