Hi Ship , so sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time. I can only say what I went through with this med in the beginning. Unlike you I started with 50 for 4 months and then went to 75 for a week and then 100. My first 2 to 3 weeks wasn't bad, and i even laughed which hasn't happened in a long time. Around week 4 the crap hit the fan, anxiety attacks the worse that I have ever had. By week 8 or 9 it was like a light bulb turned on. I increased because my anxiety was still there some and the doctor said to increase. This med is a slow acting med. It is not a benzo that kicks in really fast. I used ativan when the times got really tough. I also got dizzy, headaches, sore muscles, dry mouth and other things . You should talk to your doctor about your experiences that you are having, let him or her decide if you need alittle help until it fully kicks in. Hope this helped alittle. 😎

hello,
?I totally understand you, it takes about 2 months for each dose to adjust. maybe you should just give it time for each dose to settle and if the dose is not making you feel better after 2months go up. but during the side effects get into therapy and support groups it helps. what meds are you on? I'm on Zoloft. this medtakes along time to ajust in order to feel better . it took about a year to feel better . 2 weeks ago I had it really bad after a whole year on meds I thought I was getting better but than it took a turn I had severe depression and anxiety for 5 days and than I started my period. after my period it got better I figured it was just a embalance so I have to keep taking meds and have to get on birth control so that I can balance out. it sucks dealing with it but eating right, excersing and getting help and support helps!!!!! better days are ahead or you you are not alone, so many people go through this !!! keep fighting !!!! you are strong!!!!

Yes i most definitly think our cycle has a lot to do with our hormone embalance . It was really bad for me about a week before my period and than once my period came my thought process and depression with anxiety went away !! I looked up PMDD and i think it has a lot to do with why i feel this way . How are you feeling ?

In studies I've read you will get symptom relief faster by increasing sooner. Delaying titration will increase the time to reach efficacy.
Here's a few things I found. There is a lot more info out there. I would discuss your options with your doctor, or even better, a psychiatrist.
SSRIs or SNRIs can induce transitory side effects in the first phases of treatment which can be reduced with up-titration (https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1517/14740338.2012.712683)
From the Zoloft info sheet...
? If inadequate response to starting dosage, titrate in 25-50 mg per day
increments once weekly in MDD, OCD, PD, PTSD, and SAD (2.1)

Hi ship...I think your increasing to quickly, you could persevere or cut back to 100/125 for a while. Funnily enough I am having the same side effects at 150mg after a brand change from activis to accord and I've been on this dose for a few years....very odd? Mine are for depression not anxiety.
