hi, what dose are you starting on?  for example:  50mg?   also, i was wondering, is this your first time taking an ssri antidepressant, or have you tried some others in the past (and if so, how did that go?)

if i understand your question, you just take one of the pills each day.  you can take your pill any time of the day or night

hi katie, no you must only take your sertraline pill once every 24 hours

so, only once a day, at around for example 9am, you take just 25mg...

then, next: dont take another 25mg until the next morning at around 9am

you could continue to do that for one week

then when it is time to increase to 50mg, what you do is take your 50mg pill in the morning at your usual time of 9am, instead of taking the 25mg pill.

remember to never take more than one sertraline pill every 24 hours, and you do not need to rush with increasing your dose.  for example, when you have increased to 50mg, you could continue on that for 2 weeks before increasing again.

please keep in close contact with your doctor who will provide you with the correct assistance and help, which will make sure your treatment plan goes smoothly and correctly

My doctor started me on 50mg for one week then 100mg once a day after that. I take mine in the morning. be aware you may well experience side effect, try and stick with it but if it becomes unbearable speak to your doctor as the medication may not be suitable for you or the dosage may be too high.
