Today was hip number 2...

Posted , 12 users are following.

I had my first hip, R side done 6-7 months ago. Today was my left side. I had to be here at 10:00 am for 12:00 noon surgery. I guess all went well, so the surgeon tells me. Before this surgery, my right leg was 3/4 of an inch longer than my left. I guess that has now been corrected and I was told I will have additional pain as everything is stretching to become the same length. The pain isn't too bad, it just feels more like incision pain. Except for when I had to sneeze!! Allergy season here!! Not a good combination at all. Anyways, I will update this when I have something further to share. Until then, thanks everybody and I'm thinking of all my fellow hippies today too!! wink

    Good morning from Holland,

Just checking in with you ... How are you feeling?

DO you find it different from 1st THR ?   I thought it was - more in pain and new scar more on bum than  the other ... nothing major though - and less scared of dislocating - more trusting the new joint ...

when are you going home ...

take it easy - still a road ahead of you ... well, you know that already

    warm big hug

    renee
