Toe feels like it's being 'Squeezed'

Hi all. Had my big toe fused 2 years ago, all healed well but had some nerve damage from thr operation. Swelling subsided in the rest of my foot, but never seemed to go properly in the toe itself. For the last few months I've noticed that when I sit down for any length of time, my toe feels like its being  'squeezed' from the inside. More recently, it has been effecting my other toes on that foot, and often get a numbness in my calf muscle like it's going to sleep. Wondered if anyone else has experienced something. Bit difficult trying to google symptoms, as I'm thinking it's connected to the operation.  Have a feeling it's something called peripheral neuropathy, but not sure it can spread like this in the case of surgical nerve damage.

Hoping you see this as you posted a year ago - I found this because I’m experiencing the same thing.  A fused toe has now begun feeling like it’s being squeezed really tight, especially when I’m sitting.  Have you found any answers?
