toe fusion

its nearly 4 weeks since my op and tomorrow im wearing trainers and going to the gym, cycling and swimming im planing to do, spent today without my "shoe" for the first time and drove the car without problems, im thinking i need to get back to normal, sitting about cant be helping? i plan to wear heels and get into shoes asap if it hurts i'll stop! im also planning on running again, I had this opp to improve my life, right?

    That is great news. We need more positive comments. Patience comes to those who wait. I am going in for my 2nd op in 2 weeks. Happy with my first op and rearing for part 2!

      I hope all goes well for you, do as your doctor says and hopfully we'll both be walking tall this summer? wink

      How long did you wait between fusions. I'm going on 5 weeks post op, and would like to get the other out the way

    It is great that you are recovering fast. I feel happy for you. But be careful. Maybe you should wait a bit more to wear heels or going for a run? Why not asking your consultant's advice or physiotherapist's advice first?

    Just over 3 months since my fusion and i have a limp, how long should i expect to have no pain? rolleyes
