Hi

im 3 months in after breaking my ankle - my ankle seems really good now - slight pain - the problem seems to be with my toes - they are still quite painful and they seem to be the problem i am not walking 100% - has anybody else experienced this - cant get doctor appointment with all the madness going on at the moment - which i understand - just looking for reassurance that this happens and i am not doing anything wrong

really appreciated any feedback - thanks

Yes eight months post opp me now..

Doctor told me keep moving the toes under stade nd why now cozz they do get tight the tendens do...

Hot soak on a bowl then keep moving them at first I would bend them with my hand little painful. Made them supple four month's in I did this glad now cozz I can move the toes lots...

When I was weight bearing I could feal them pulling it do get better.

Paracetamol is all i had and it helped after 4 monthes I used a cream on my foot Aveeno it helped the skin stay supple.

Ask anything I'll respond keep on getting better respects Mark Welsh man.

    Two breaks and a dislocation.

I think theres all different types of feelings after breaking your ankle and having surgery

My pain came on opposite side of where my surgery was

I did break both sides but right hand side wasnt as bad as keft Thats where all my screws are

But Im 8 months post op now and still get a little numbness in my toes

My ortho said it could take a full year for all to feel right again

yeah I had horrible toe pain, especially my big toe for the longest time.

It was caused by tightness in the planter fascia.

The physio worked on it a bit, and I would roll my foot on a lacrosse ball, and try and do calf raises (which I am still not great at).

    It eventually settled.
