Toe Problem (Corns?)

Hi there,

I have an issue with my toes. I'm unsure if the skin is classed as corns. I went to my foot clinic a while ago now, and thought nothing much of it thinking it would perhaps get better or at the most stay as it was. It's got a little worse since then.

It could be due to wearing trainers that have been too narrow. I am unsure, or just a natural problem that has occurred.

See the images attached. The middle toe overlaps the second from the left. The middle one has some kind of corn on the side where it rubs against the other. (I am guessing it as a corn)

The second from the left is rubbing and due to the pressure when I walk, the skin has hardened and gone 'strange'. Again, similar to how the middle toe has gone. It's the left one that is more uncomfortable.

On a side note, the images were taken after a good soak to soften the skin.

Any responses would be appreciated.

Thank you

Adam

    HI Thomson737

THIS COULD BE a fungal infection and your GP can treat it ,but it needs treating soon before it gets worse.

THE toe however which is encroaching on the middle toe needs treatment too and your GP may recommend you see an orthopaedic surgeon to advise a suitable treatment plan. This may or may not involve surgery.

Go and see your GP ASAP and get it checked out.I t wont get better without suitable treatment.
