Toes have brown spots, cancer?!

I have been getting these brown spots on my toes for about 6 months now, progressively getting worse and they're just on my big toes. The right toe nail is way worse than the left and I've started doing some Dr. Googling and it keeps popping up with melenoma. Can someone please offer some insight?

Just some quick info about me, I'm 22 years old, female, fighting fit and healthy from what I know

Do the brown spots grow out along with your toenail? Does your big toenail rub against your shoes or do you do aerobics? looks more like petechiae than melanoma to me.

Since it's also on your other foot, there's a very good chance it's being caused by micro trauma from wearing shoes that are tight in the toe area, such as heels or boots. It's almost like the petechia you get on your face after vomiting, from the pressure. Watch and see if the intensity of the spots changes depending on the shoes you've been wearing. I know it's weird, but mine looks similar if I wear pointed shoes.

    It also could be fungus.

Since you're getting it on two different feet, it lowers the chance that it's melanoma. Just keep an eye on it. If they get dark and bigger, get it checked.

Change the type of shoes you wear for a week or two and see if it gets better.
