Interesting that you bring this up because I have noticed it when my knee is sore and swollen that my feet feel this way.  Some the the swelling inside the knee may be restricting nerve channels.  It comes and goes, so I'm not worried about it.

Sounds like some sort of nerve issue. I would ask the surgeon about it. Assume you only had one knee done but have the issue in both legs & toes.

Yes, I only had the one knee done but toes hurt on the other leg as well. I dont see the surgeon until December but see my doctor next week.

Maybe your back is out of whack and pinching some nerves. Between the resting and laying around and walking differently because of the knee you might just need to do some simple stretching exercises for your back to pop things back in place.

I had a desk job for 30 years. The constant sitting would cause sciatica to flare up. I started doing yoga and it felt so good hearing all those bones pop back into place when I stretched. I've logged a LOT of couch time with this knee and need to do some back stretching. I feel like I've gotten lazy about working my upper body. But I will get there!
