Told to quit antibiotics, should I?

Hello. I'm a 15 year old Male. Friday I woke up with tight lungs, and after my track meet, I went to urgent care. They said I had an upper respiratory infection which was causing asthma like symptoms. Today (sunday) I had a fever, so I went to a different urgent care, and tested positive for flu b. I took z paks Friday and Saturday, but the nurse practitioner told me to quit them. I've been told to never quit a course of antibiotics due to super bacteria and how they can be deadly. My mom is a nurse and she also said I don't have to take them, but I could if it makes me feel better about super bacteria. Am I overreacting? I know the flu is a virus and antibiotics are for bacteria, but since I took some shouldn't I finish? I would just like to get some more opinions.
