    Hi Ella

Most likely it could be, best bet would be go and get yourself check out with your GP

    Personally not experienced this though.

Funnily enough yes i have had this issue, to the point my tongue felt coated and i had a red patch on it.  Drs never seemed concerned and just said everything was always anxiety

Hi Ellabella, no I have not experienced this but anxiety can cause many symptoms many of them physical that make no sense at all. Maybe someone will have a similar experience and can relate, best to you

Do you think its an allergy to something? Some kind of allergic reaction? Once i brushed my tongue too much and proceeded with an alcohol based mouthwash and had some issues. I never use the alcohol based mouthwashes anymore. And use a very soft brush for the tongue.

Yes, most definitely. The tip of my tongue burns when my anxiety is up, and there's no telling how long it will last. I also get it when I'm sick, because that tends to elevate my anxiety. Many times I'll feel the burning sensation well before infection symptoms set in.
