Tonsil Lump

Hi,

I've had a pain in my throat for almost 3 years now, which results in a lot of pain on the left side of my throat when I talk. When I don't talk, the pain goes.

This pain also comes with a feeling of something being stuck there which won't shift.

Anyway, I've seen over 10 ENTs, been for an MRI, Ultrasound, I've had both sets of tonsils remove (normal and glandular), to no avail!

I'm left with what you can see in these pics, this leftover tonsil remnant on the side where the issue is and a small lump attached to it which has a red spot on it which gets redder the worse the pain is (no blood though).

Anyone had any idea what this is as it's driving me mad.

Medications: Nexium for acid reflux. That's it!

About me: Male, 30, no real past issues apart from acid which is under control with the Nexium. White, British and I don't smoke or drink and generally eat and drink pretty well.
