Tonsils out last year but have white patches in mouth

last year i kept getting recurrent tonsillitis and had my tonsils taken out. even after, i kept having sore throat every day. this has escalated and become severe, i also have symptoms like headaches, feverish, need to clear throat constantly... today i noticed a small bulge with white patch near where my tonsils used to be (almost at back of my tongue). has anyone ever experienced anything like this? surely my tonsils cant be coming back? i have no idea what is wrong with me and i am really at my wits end now !

    are the bumps at back of throat normal? small white patch on left side.
