Too many symptoms - what do I do next?

I'm so confused. I've been getting various symptoms for 8 months  now including extreme bloating, shortness of breath, tinnitus and face pain (after root canal treatment). I ended up losing my job. Got an endoscopy who said I had gastritis and oesphagusis (ulcer in my oesphasgus) and h pylori. Got treated for the h pylori with triple therapy.

Thing is two months later, I am still getting all of the sameness symptoms plus I've been feeling very sick (especially on ppis). I'm seeing an ENT and the gastro specialist again in a couple of months. on top of that I can't do any exercise because I can't breath too well, I've come cut dairy, wheat, grains and not eating very much. Still no improvement, I've also started to get a pain under my left rib and something is moving up and down.

i don't get if all these things are interconnected. I'm really confused. Can anyone shed any light on what could be causing all this? The doctors seem confused as well.

    Hi dave

Yes those are interconnected sounds that you don't drink water as required. Stomach is linked with all the parts. If it is not ok ), it starts reflecting on the parts you said.

Do you have skin pimples in face on and off ? Joint pain in leg and back ? Numbness ? Ear pain ?

Thanks so much for your reply Rhianna. I have been rashes and pimples sometimes on my arms and legs since I did the triple therapy. Didn't think much of them. I have been getting shoulder and neck pain a lot recently. Are these related to my stomach to my stomach as well? Is this something you've experienced?

I do get ear pain occasionally but it's usually on my forehead and across my nose with headaches. Feels like there is some mucus in my throat a lot. I'm going to see an ENT and maxfacial about it but it could be a long time away. My ears also pop when I swallow and they ring all the time. Numbness not too often. I had assumed some of it was from the root canal 8 months ago but maybe it's not that or being exacerbated by my stomach problems?

Triple therapy is very strong medication, it might have disagreed with you.  Rashes can be a sign of a side effect to medication.  Sounds like the PPIs have also irritated you stomach if you have felt sick on them.  I don't drink a lot of water, but I don't get your symptoms.

Also get retested for h pylori; it can come back and be resistant to the antibiotics.

Thanks Pippa. Do you think I should ask my GP if I should stop taking the PPIs then to see if it gives me some relief until I see the gastroenterologist again.

If the PPIs are making you ill, you could just come off them slowly yourself without asking the doctor or see if you can be given a lower dose or different medication.  If you feel better after stopping them, then you will know you were having a reaction.  I was given IBS medication which irritated my stomach seconds after taking the first tablet. I threw them out and felt instantly better from the side effects.  I found a better over the counter antispasmodic in the chemists myself.

I would also ask you to visit naturopath especially from India. I was having the issues I indicated after treatment now I have neuro issues alone.
