Tooth abscess question. Please help

Just the other day I woke up with a toothache hoping it would die down...the next day it was worse and my cheek was swollen. Same day went to the dentist and they proceeded to do a root canal and a drainage in my gum. They prescribed me Antibiotics and pain killers it’s been 2 days now and the swelling and numbness in my lip and cheek have not gone down. What should I do to help relive the presser in my jaw/cheek
