Sorry to trouble you but I have a question which I hope you can help with. My dentist has told me I have to get a tooth pulled due to an infection. He hasn't given me antibiotics to help with he infection. Is this normal. My main question tho is can I wait a couple of month to get the tooth pulled. I am getting married in two months and the dentist has told me he can't get a bridge in, in time. Can I wait or is here anything I can do

Hi, I'M NO EXPERT but I thought a tooth with infection shouldent be pulled until the infection has been treated. Can you get a second opinion?

Hi there, if you have a tooth infection, how old are you sorry to ask, couldn't the dentist save the tooth by offering other alternative if the tooth the decaying is not severe, or depending on the severity of the infection honestly you should be on antibiotic so to stop the infection going into your system especially when you have to pull your teeth out. As I said depending on the severity of the infection, surely the infection is the priority to treat while trying save the tooth at the same time. Otherwise if need to pull out, I suggested you should take prophalatic treatment just to make sure the infection does not travel to your blood stream and cause systematic infection or further problems. Hope this is help.

    Cheers
