Top of foot pain 3.5 months after ankle micro fracture surgery?

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone has experience something similar? I had a microfracture with bio cartilage surgery on my ankle on July 31st. Everything seemed to be progressing normally, I had very minimal pain. At around 12 weeks after surgery, I began weening off my walking boot, and thats when i began feeling immense pain on the top of my foot, I can barely walk and have began limping. Not sure if this is normal and if it goes away? I am starting to feel very discouraged. Any advice helps!

Thanks!

    Have you done PT?

Or discussed the pain with your doctor?

I went FWB 8 weeks post op and also experienced pain on top of my foot

Once I began PT slowly but surely pain decreased

After no using your foot for awhile I think pain is inevitable but it does get better

Hi there. Maybe run it by your PT? Mine was a huge help... I had so many questions/concerns.

My PT was a huge, huge help.
