My doctor just had my wean off Amitriptyline and wants me to start Topiramate and Citalopram. Has anyone tried these for anxiety? I'm reading about them online and it is making me nervous to try.

All meds have their own side effects so its advisable to listen on what the doctor has said to you like on how many times are you gonna take this and that, what time period should you be only taking it on a daily basis etc so yeah, trust your doctor.

i have taken citalapram for years on and off, its been a life saver for me, I personally didnt have any noticable side effects. after 10 years i am now coming off citalapram to try something else as it feels as though my body has got used to the citalapram and doesnt seem to be helping anymore. but until then it was fantastic for me, i only ever took citalapram on its own just to add.

I have been taking 25mg Topirmate, 10mg Citalopram once a day then .5 xanax twice a day. For a week I started to feel great now stuff starting to come back again. Woke up terrible Sat/Sun but felt better about an hour after taking meds. Today woke up awful took meds felt a little better after an hour but it then waved over me off and on all day. My head feels 100lbs arms heavy feel faint I just really need this to be gone!!!
