You somehow seem to have managed to put this in the Diabetes category!!!

You are only a week from op and cannot get to 90 degrees?!!

When I had TKR 5 years ago I only just managed to get to 90 degrees for my 6 week appointment.

Yes you need to be more patient, take it easy.

Hi, welcome to the "wonderful" world of TKR!

I agree with Sarah, you are being impatient, it takes awhile!

Sometimes the medical staff scare you into thinking that you have to get that knee bent etc., unfortunately it usually takes up to a few months! Do your exercises regularly, 1 day you'll realize that you've bent your knees and didn't even know it! Sounds like you're doing well!

As for meds., I've always stuck with acetaminophen but luckily it doesn't cause me problems with my digestive system. I eat a lot of fiber, whole grain spoon size shredded wheat with bran. Good luck to you, Susan
