I also am a member of the TKR-MRSA-Debridement and Revision CLUB.

Now,“Alina4187” you did not mention your pain-medication.

My case. 2014 Sweden where I had my TKR. Plenty of OxyContin (Oxycodone). No pain - no side effects.

Since my operation in Stockholm I am back in Thailand where I live. Now waiting for my next procedure  after the infected implant was removed and a “Spacer” was inserted.

Two months hopping in around on my crutches. Pain; Knee, back and hip. Every day. Some days I can hardly move to the shower.

Here Thailand OxyContin “No Have” for TKR patients only for terminally, moribund cancer patients.

Only TRAMADOL , which works fine. “50 mg every 8 hours” by prescription Dr Chawalit, Lerdsin Orthopedic Hospital Bangkok.

My advice try Tramadol. Best regards, “Bangkok-Johnny”

You sound like your trying to catch up with me!! 6 surgeries is no fun but 18 is even worse 6 of mine have been revisions as well. Yes I have been thru MRSA after my 4th Revision After going thru the process had my 5th done May 2016 Just had my 6th revision / 18th surgery and here I am back with an infection once again on the PICC line. A couple of questions is the pain constant or is it from over doing it?? I take 4mg of Hydromorphone and yes its strong but it still hurts.I would suggest you ice and elevate. This will help with pain and swelling plus you can do this all day long no prescription needed.
