Total Reverse Shoulder Replacement and Deltoid muscle issues

I had a Total Reverse Shoulder Replacement of my right arm and now I get sharp/painful feelings in my deltoid muscle.  Has anyone else had this trouble?  If so - how was it treated/being treated?

WOW Carol...when did  you have the surgery?   I'm sure you know with a reverse total shoulder, you deltoid muscle takes over the job of your joint.   I hope your surgery wasn't too long ago and your deltoid is just adjusting to its new job.   I had  the option of a total reverse but declined because I have heard too many stories that concerned me. Sorry  I can't be of any help, but I sure feel your pain.

I had it in December. I'm not sure if it's the deltoid or an issue with the rotator cuff (which I also tore). I' ve read that the two can be similar with regard to pain. I wasn't given a choice. Didn't even know it was reverse until later in the month from the visiting P/T guy. Thanks tho....
