Hello there. I have been taking pregabalin for about two months now and find it ok.

I have been taking tramadol for YEARS and find it a tremendus pain killer with very few side effects. I am curiois to know why you describe tramadol as an evil drug.

However I did take mirtazapine for a couple of weeks a few years ago and found that intolerable. Your double vision and halucinations I am sure is the mirtazepine . Is mirtazapine a new drug to you?

I found it gave me a ravenous hunger, appalling halucinagenic day dreams and nightmares and profound hot and cold shivers. I felt out of control and it was unbearable. Alot of people have experienced the same on mirts.

I wonder if the mirts is the problem not the pregab and tramadol.

Hi ,I had to come off tramadol as it was sending my blood pressure up and causing halucinations I stopped tramadol cold turkey about 3 weeks ago and doc put me on pregabelin 75mg twice daily,I have been on mirt for 8months with no problems, seen doc today and he has lowerd dose of pregabelin to 25mg twice daily as i am still having double vision ,when I say tram is evil its because of the severe w/d i had coming off it ,not very nice, now I have to see doc as I now have a tremor in my fingers and I am blaming tramadol or maybe I am still in w/d with tramadol I wont know till I see doc on tuesday ,I did not get the double vision untill I was put on pregabelin and Its one of the side effects of pregabelin ,so i think thats the reason its been lowered I have also been put on bisopralol ,I find i,m very sensitive to all medications .atb nezza

    Hi Nezza

i had to w/d from tramadol which I was px post op..it increased my pain and I ended up taking more....I wasn't myself either. However after I'd stopped albeit following a slow withdrawal I felt out of sorts paranoid suicidal for about 8 weeks after I'd stopped... My aged aunt also ended up in a psych unit with tramadol but within 3 months of stopping was her usual sprightly self... The side effects are worse after stopping we found so this may be why you are still suffering.

it is an evil drug...the Devils sweets I've heard it call.
