I get this a lot. I've been to the ER countless times. Was told it's GERD which is quite common in peri/meno. Drinking something warm will help to move it. I also get the weird head and weird head pressure. Makes my anxiety through the roof which I have never dealt with my entire life until now. You are not alone with these feelings. Even though they may not seem like it, it is completely normal.

Think were all suffering im so bloody sick of all these symptoms there seems no end to them what makes it worse my doctor tells me my hormone tests are fine wont even admit they symptoms of peri menepause i feel like im going off my rocker lol

I'm the same way. All my bloods come back normal and the doc insists that its nothing wrong with me. It took me a long time to accept that. Unless they are specialist and the hormones stop going up and down and all over the place, the docs will always say you are normal. All these symptoms make me feel like I'm going nuts.

    Hi, Kim,

Has anyone checked whether you have a hiatal hernia?

Ah, I just asked because I'd had the same trapped air feeling and had an endoscopy.  It didn't show the hiatal hernia.  That was found later, when I had a CT scan for something else the doctor was worried about.

It's always something, isn't it?  smile

    Hi Kim!

I'm very familiar with the trapped air. You are so correct

once I burp I feel so much better! I get this a lot! I've

had it so bad that I got pain in my shoulder chest and

back all at the same time!😩

I too have the weird head feeling along with sharp vision. As far as the trapped air take a teaspoon of mustard and chase it with 2oz warm water . its just mild indigestion and the mustard and water is a old folks home remedy that my grandma taught us and it definitely works almost immediately.
