Trapped finger in door - numb after 6 hours. What should I do?

hi, so I'm new here so bare with me.

I was backstage at rehearsals today and had my fingers trapped in one of the dressing room doors. Basically, the girl who shut the door was getting changed but we pushed it open to release my fingers - only to have her slam it shut on my finger tips.

the nails were bleeding and immediately started swelling and bruising. First aid strapped my fingers together as I had to carry on with the show. It's over 6 hours since the trapping and my finger tips are numb but if I touch them they send shooting pains down the finger. I've taken painkillers and tried settling down (I try to avoid a&e unless I really need to go) but the pain is becoming unbearable. Nails continued to bleed for a while after and I can't really move my fingers without force

what should I do? is it worth going to get an x-ray or just leave it?

I've never injured my fingers before so I'm a bit clueless! any advice would be really appreciated!
