Trazadone and Sleep

Posted , 2 users are following.

My Dr has put me on Trazadone to help me sleep. After four nights my head feels awful all day and my sleep has not improved. I am taking 50mg. Has anyone got any positive stories about Trazadone? Does it improve sleep?

My head feels completely spaced out on Trazadone right now.

I do not know anything about Trazadone.

I was on it for about 1 year.  I was on 75 mg.   I would take it at night.  Literally through the night I would not move.  I did sleep through the night though.  ||I never had a sleep issue before taking it.

BUT BUT BUT, the withdrawals are absolutely horrible.  I started to wean it march/17, and finished weaning October /17. Worst time of my life and I still have withdrawls.  |I did have to wean off Klonopin after that, so I guess that has also contributed to it.

I am off traz 11 months now, and 10 months off Klon, and still having protrated withdrawal.

I would never ever take this crap again.

    \please be careful

That’s very useful. I have taken 50mg now for five nights but I am still waking up several times a night. My head feels awful all day.

I also take a bit of klonopin when I wake up just to get me back to sleep again.

What were your withdrawal symptoms? That would be very useful to know?
