i am really freaked out. i have been treated for BPH for over 20 years recently i had prostatitus and my symptoms got worse and never got better. Ijust had an MRI and it is 100 % normal in size and has no cancer. I cant find another case like this anywhere.

did they check if you have stricture? you should get cystoscopy

Maybe your prostatitis isn't cleared up. Best be careful with the cystoscopy, might cause more flow problems.

@Truxrus40 Sounds like good news, what are your present BPH symptoms, and any out patient surgeries? Any history of affliction would be appreciated? Appreciate info, as many here could compare notes. Good luck

Did you get a treatment for your prostatitus ? Prostatitus will definitely make your urinary symptoms worse if it is not treated. Prostatitus will also cause your PSA to be high. PSA can be checked from a semen sample. If you have prostatitus the prostate will usually be painful with a DRE, Digital Rectal Exam.
