Hi everyone

?I have been suffering from tremors for a year now and been to doctors many times, still no results what it is. Just told all the time its my fibro. its getting worse and no meds help. Friends and family ask me if I have parkinsons.  Are there anymore tremor sufferers out there and if so do you have treatments that work.

Im not sure exactly what you are experiencing but I suffered from terrible spasms in the early days of my fibro. I broke a metal wheelchair, cut my hands with my fingernails, ect during these spasms. They seemed to be stress related and lowering my stress and getting into a better place in my head and life stopped them after a while. I still get them when I get really worked up. I wouldnt be surprised if your tremors werent along the same lines as my spasms.

    Hi Deborah,

I also have tremors that have been getting worse. They started a little over a year ago and I get bad spasms as well. The only thing I have found that only helps temporarily with the spasms, pain, and some of the tremors is a hot bath in a special epsom salt blend that has rosemary and mint that helps with sore muscles. Sorry this isn't much help but I am here for you and with you.

    Sending you hugs!

    Hi Deborah.

It could be stress related or it could also be a nasty side effect from medication. Medication can affect the nervous system. Hope you can soon find some relief.

I get this, mainly noticeable when I’m laying still, think it’s the Fibro.. although when I was taking citalopram I found it made the tremor worse so could also be a side affect
