Tried Boric Acid for BV and now I've bled for 3 weeks

In late August/Early September, I got antibiotics for BV. About a month later, I was having the same issues and it even caused me to bleed. I went to the doctors and they said that I had bv again and that the inside looked irritated and caused the bleeding. She put me on the gel antibiotics. The bleeding stopped and so did my symptoms. About 2 weeks later, I was having symptoms of BV again (excessive discharge & foul odor). I was so frustrated and asked for suggestions and someone suggested boric acid. I was looking at reviews and everyone said it helped them so much and at this point, I was desperate! It's so embarrassing so I tried boric acid. I took it for 2 days and my symptoms went away so I stopped taking it. I was so happy for about a day and then all of a sudden I started getting spotting which turned into light bleeding. I called my doctor after a week of bleeding and she told me that she doesn't recommend using that and that the bleeding is something that I'm just going to have to ride out. After more research, I've seen so many women say they've had bleeding and I wish I would've looked more or asked my doctor about it before trying. Its been spotting, light bleeding, and then spotting again back and forth for 3 weeks!
If anyone has tried boric and had this happen to them? If so, how long? I'm just so beyond frustrated at this point.

i know exactly how you feel. i suffered from bv for 4 years but i recently cured my bv/yeast infection by using (liquid capsules) oil of oregano. I found a youtube video of a young lady taking the 4 drops of oil of oregano and diluted it with extra virgin olive oil and would drink that 3 times day. I thought that was too much. So i bought the liquid capsules (70% carvacrol ) and took it 2 or 3 times a day every morning. i promise after two weeks my husband stated he did not smell my bv while being intimate and then i was like omg my bv is gone. I was so HAPPY! like i would smell my underwear and it smelled like me again lol . I hope this helps you!
