Trigger thumb

Hi. I've been diagnosed with trigger thumb. It's sore sometimes at the underside of thumb knuckle. And when I bend first joint down, it's OK. But when it is brought back up, it can click. It's good in the morning but can get sore as the evening goes on. I'm taking celebrex 100mg twice daily for 5 days. This is my third morning taking them. Thumb is a bit swollen since last night. Don't know if that's good or bad. Right now, it's very quiet. I haven't been affected in doing everyday things, strangely enough. But will get back to my doc if it doesn't work. Maybe an injection could be necessary. Cheers Kevin..
