Trimalleolar Fracture

I am 10 months post surgery. Non weight bearing for 8 weeks. I was told it will take up to a year for recovery. I am a 69 year old female who exercised regularly, mostly doing spin classes. I am feeling better although I still don't feel the same as I did before the surgery. My big complaint is my arm/shoulder hurts most of the time. This was from the non weight bearing. I have not been able to find any information about this secondary injury . I have taken an x ray and nothing showed up. Also, I had physical therapy and it did not help. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. I would appreciate any help with this problem.
